    Unanswered: Showing Empty Groups

    Hello,

We run a Crystal Report that sorts emails by Sent vs Pending, then groups these emails by 'type.' Normally, if there are no Pending emails of a certain 'type,' that group does not appear on the report. Does anyone know how you could make that group appear anyway, even though the value of the group is null? We want to show that there are 0 emails of a particular kind if this is the case as opposed to merely having the group not appear in that section of the report. The grouping is based on formula, so changing a join will not help in this instance.

    Thanks in advance!

    Chris

I think you need to go to design view, click on the Group Sections and go to the section expert. Make sure the "Suppress Blank Section" checkbox is not clicked
