Unanswered: How to protect an access project?

    Hello everybody

I want to protect an Access project (.adp file, not .mdb)

The autoexec macro doesn't run if the user press the shift key during the startup of the application.

But, disabling the effect of the shift key can be done only in .mdb files

    any idea?

Have you tried disabling the shift key - if so how?

The following works for .mdb files, not for .adp:

    Sub disableShiftKey()
'REQUIERE MICROSOFT DAO 3.6 OBJECT LIBRARY
    Dim db As DAO.Database
    Dim prp As DAO.Property

    On Error Resume Next
    Set db = CurrentDb
    db.Properties.Delete "AllowBypassKey"
Set prp = db.CreateProperty("AllowBypassKey", dbBoolean, False)
    db.Properties.Append prp

    db.Properties.Refresh

    Set prp = Nothing
    Set db = Nothing
    End Sub
