    Unanswered: ISQL on Sybase

    Hi all,
Firstly i would like to know if there is any difference between isql provided by sybase and one provided by MSSQL.......it really took me some time to conclude that both are different......

Secondly is there any command line utility as one provided by MSSQL
For eg: In MSSQL if i would like to execute this SQL file we have

    osql -Usa -Ppassword -SMUMSV058 -e -dCFG_DB -i C:\setup_tc_cfg_db-sqlserver.sql

Can anybody give me an alternative for doing this in Sybase.

    Regards,
    Tahir

You can not expect that two executables that have the same name does the same thing. The versions might be different and the companies that made them might be different.
