    Unanswered: MSCOMCTL.OCX error messages

I am converting an existing Access '97 database to Access 2003.

When opening up one of the forms in Access 2003, I see the attached error messages (see below).

It looks like I have "Microsoft ImageComboBox Control 6.0 (SP6)", "Microsoft ImageList Control 6.0 (SP6)", and other ActiveX controls from the mscomctl.ocx library currently installed in Access 2003.

What is going on here? Why does Microsoft hate me so much?

I may have missed on providing a useful piece of information. While doing the import from the Access '97 database, I saw the error message attached below:

    Check the references.
In your code window go to Tools > References.

Perfect! Once I saw and corrected the "References" differences between the two databases, that did the trick!

    Thanks, georgev!
