    Unanswered: Unrecoverable I/O or volume error

    Hello All and please Help,
    I have the following working environment and this problem:
    1) I'm using UNIX AIX Operating System, ASE 12.5 Database.
    2) I have a db named "rawatib" that contains 3 devices:
    rawatibdata Data 1000MB
    rawatibdata2 Data 1000MB
    rawatiblog Log 670MB
    3) When I loaded a previously dumped "rawatib" db I got the following:

    Jul 19 19:00:40 2007: Backup Server: 4.58.1.1: Database rawatib: 2626890kilobytes loaded.
    Jul 19 19:00:44 2007: Backup Server: 4.58.1.1: Database rawatib: 2661582kilobytes loaded.
    Jul 19 19:00:48 2007: Backup Server: 4.58.1.1: Database rawatib: 2696274kilobytes loaded.
    Jul 19 19:00:49 2007: Backup Server: 4.145.2.23: [95] Error for device '/disk2/sybase125/ASE-12_5/backup/nrawatib.bak'. Error reading from archive device /disk2/sybase125/ASE-12_5/backup/nrawatib.bak. Attempted to read 65536 bytes, but 58880 bytes were read. The dump is probably bad.

    Can you confirm from the backup server log that the backup was successful
