    Unanswered: Oracle and SOAP

    Hello,

I know my way around with plsql and sql in oracle. I also a few things about oracle as a system.

I have a oracle database and I need to export some data. I want to export it and offer the data as xml to a webservice. The webservice is made with php and can handle soap request.

Can anyone give me some global hints on how to write a soapclient which can make dbrequest and then send it with soap? Do I need to write it in Java(no problem by the way)? Which oracle package are used?

    thanks beforehand!

    Nope

    Actually no,

I know how to create a soap-server with php. The backend is mysql. This is on the webserver and is all working fine.

I also have a dedicated oracle server. I have no rights to read from this db on this server. Now the data from the oracleserver is being ftped to the webserver. This way of export is not so save and stable. So I want to send the data to the soapserver from the oracleserver.

I guess this is the way to do it. But how do I make the client?
