Unanswered: Loadig database from Solaris to Win2003

    Hello everyone,
Well, I'm trying to load my database from Solaris to Windows. I've try everything and still have an error.

    Msg 3151, Level 16, State 2:
    Server 'TCMDVMG001', Line 1:
Adaptive Server cannot load this database because the database that was dumped was not quiescent when the dump was performed. Run sp_flushstats before DUMP DATABASE and ensure that the database is not updated during the dump.

    First of all, my versions.

    Windows 2003
    Adaptive Server Enterprise/15.0.1/EBF 13823/P/NT (IX86)/Windows 2000/ase1501/2379/32-bit/OPT/Mon Aug 14 22:12:39 2006

    Solaris 10/6
    Adaptive Server Enterprise/15.0.1/EBF 13819/P/Sun_svr4/OS 5.8/ase1501/2379/64-bit/FBO/Tue Aug 15 04:20:15 2006

Here it is what I've done.

    1. Dump (Solaris)
    sp_dboption mydb, "single user", true
    sp_flushstats
    checkpoint
    dump database mydb to "/admin/pl_cierre/mydb.dat"
    sp_dboption mydb, "single user", false

    2. Load (Win)
    1> load database d_mydb from "e:\backup\mydb.dat"
    2> go

It is complaining about quiescent point, which means the transaction log likely has some pages.

    sp_dboption mydb, "single user", true
    sp_flushstats
    checkpoint
    dump tran mydb with truncate_only
    dump database mydb to "/admin/pl_cierre/mydb.dat"
    sp_dboption mydb, "single user", false

    see if this works
