    Unanswered: Report Error

    In one of my textbox I placed following code to display the date in particular format. This works fine in my computer but the same thing won't work at my clients pc. I believe it is a case of missing library but whilch library references

    If I removes 'Format' keyword from the expression, it works well.

    ="( On" & " " & Format(Date(),"yyyy\mm\dd") & " )"

    When I run the report, the attached error occurs. I captured all these errors and attached here. Could someone extend help please?

    I've had trouble like that before; as I recall, it turned out that the user had an older version of Microsoft Word. When I went to their reference library, it was missing the Word library reference. I just unchecked the newer version, and changed it to the old version, and all worked fine. Try it once, see if it works.

    I've also had this happen to me. For some odd reason, my problem was caused by a print driver. As soon I changed the default printer, the problem went away.

    Thanks Guys,

    It means only if I change the version of lib file it should work. OK. One question, do I need to check-n-replace ALL the lib file version by copying it to the windows\System32 folder either old or new. I mean to say if there is previously old version and if I replaces it with new or either way, will it work? Please advise.

    In my situation, any time I would do any change to the dB, it would revert to the newer version library. So after I made changes, I had to go to that one user's station to change the library back to the old version. Then it would run fine. The user's with newer versions were backwards-compatible, and the user that was on the older version was set.
