Unanswered: SQl 2000 & 2005 running on same server

    Hi,

I've installed sql2005 on a windows 200 server. now the requirement is to install sql2000 also on the same server.

Would like to know if any have experienced and type of problem on having both sql on same server. and if there is any impact on installing sql2000 after sql2005.

    thanks in advanced

You may want to ask that question in a SQL Server forum. This forum here talks about SQL (the language) as defined by ISO.

I have several servers running both 2000 and 2005, and have experienced no problems.
If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.

I had the problem of trying to make DTS work. Nothing more major than that - it is/was a business requirement that we had DTS on both 2K and 2k5
