Job Title: Sr. Technical Analyst (Application Development)

Compensation and benefits package:

Salary based on qualifications and experience but our estimate is the top end starting base will be $90K. Relocation

Relocation will be seriously considered on a case by case basis

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and develop new ETL applications as well as provide production support for existing ETL applications.

• Responsible for creating program specifications, construction, unit testing, system testing, user test support, and implementation activities for assigned projects under the direction of a manager.

• Responsible for technical analysis and design of system requests, production problems, and/or functional requirements.

• Provide time estimates and control progress of assigned projects. Provide manager with accurate feedback on project statuses.

• Create system test plans and follow through with the testing and documenting of the test results for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

• Assist with the technical guidance and training of other staff members.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience Required:

• Strong development experience with IBM DataStage Enterprise Edition Version 7.x is required. Experience using DataStage parallel engine to implement surrogate keys.

• 3 years of recent development work with DataStage.

• Successfully developed, designed, tested, and implemented using the DataStage parallel processing engine.

• Experience using DataStage with DB2 V5.3 or higher on an RS6000 platform and SQL Server 2003.

• General knowledge of Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse concepts.

• Experience with Oracle Version 9.x and/or Mainframe DB2 Version 8.x is a plus.

• Experience coding custom stages using BUILDOPS is a plus.

• Knowledge of Microsoft DTS is a plus.

• Experience with Cognos Version 7.x or 8.x is a plus.

• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is a plus.
