Unanswered: Crystal Reports - Query by Form

I am new to Crystal reports. I would like to create a query by form with Crystal Reports linked to an Oracle db.

Can you create a form in Crystal Reports so that a user can enter a value into one or more fields on the report and get the records that match that those values.

    If so how.

You want to create some Parameters, one for each field you want the user to enter.

You must choose the type (string, numeric, etc.) and then you can add a description, default choices, etc.

It is good practice to show the parameters in the report header so you can see what the user input when they come back and ask about the results.

To use the parameters you must insert them into your report selection criteria and/or within formulae that display data.
