    Unanswered: I Desperately need help. Why do I get ActiveX component can't create object? message

    Dear All, I would be most grateful if some one could please help me. My database was working fine untill yesterday until when i was trying to enter a new code for Reminders. the code didnt work, so i removed them all. but now even time i try to click on FIND button or Search Button i get this message " ActiveX componenet can't create object". THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

    Here's 3 sites that address this error. I'd look at the first one first; it's from mvps and their advice is usually spot on. The other two are from Micro$oft's Knowledge Base.

    Hi, I have tried all those sites and those suggestions, but believe me none worked or fixed the problem. Even when i created a new databse to see if i can create buttons in a new form or create a find button, i got the same message.

    You're saying ypo've uninstalled then reinstalled Office and still no luck?
