    Smile Unanswered: clone database

    if we use

    backup database livedb
    and then

    restore database livedb

    then we can tranfer database to any machine

    but if we require to transfer database with name livedbtest which
    contains the same contents of live

    not by export load command

    you can restore db aa into db bb (into..)
    if on the same machine and specific paths are being used, then redirected restore is needed. see doc for restore and redirect

    yes this is working fine If we want to change schema name for tables

    then what we have to do

    SCHEMA_MAP option in db2move or SYSPROC.ADMIN_COPY_SCHEMA
