i need a little help designing my dvd job-archive db.
i have a folder structure that looks like this:
0923 | 14975 | Layout, Links, Originals, PrintFiles, Proofs
the first 4 digit number is the name/number of the dvd.
the second 5 digit number represent the job (often many job-folders per dvd) and the next five folders is the content of the job-folder which in turn contain many different types of files like fonts, images etc...
how can i set this up in a professional way??
the main thing i want is to quickly search for a job-number and get the dvd-number where that job is backed up.
maybe i can do a more complex system so if i want a particular font i might also find all the jobs with that font and their dvds...
