    Unanswered: Health Monitor error...

    hi, all

    our db running DB2 8, FP12 on AIX.

    i was found diaglog message like below...

    why error has occured like above?

    i can't understand Health Monitor error message occured because of our db's "HEALTH_MON" database manager configuration has "OFF".

    our db cataloged "Indirect", not loopbck...

    how can i solve this problem?

    Turn off the Health Monitor. It is part virus, part spam.

    It was rushed into the code by IBM marketing to impress customers who are comparing DB2 with other databases for potential purchase. It does not work very well yet.

    Thanks your reply Marcus!

    But, "Health Monitor" switch has already "OFF" state.

    What can i check another ?

    Do a db2stop and db2start.

    Of course, any previous error messages will still be in the log, but hopefully you will not get any new ones.
