    Unanswered: New Record at Top

I have a form loading as a datasheet. Is there a way to have a new record appear at the top rather than the bottom?

    This is with Access 2000.

Sorry, I've seen this question literally dozens and dozens times and have never seen a working answe posted.
    Hope this helps!

Do you mean the option box (*) to add a new record at the top?
If so, then the answer is as Linqs above.

However, if the question is "When I add a new record how can I make it appear at the top of the list" then you have other options!

It can be done, and I've seen a working sample somewhere. It's done with 2 subforms, one set to data entry and sized for one record, the other displaying records and placed right underneath. Done properly, it would look to the user like one form with the new record entry at the top. As already noted, there's no way to have a single form with the new record at the top.
