    Unanswered: Setting password for folders

    Hi all

It is possible to set password for the folder thru VB. I am
having Database folder and store all my tables in (.dbf vfoxpro
files) that folder. I want to protect the folder so that i
should not open thru windows explorer, but thru application i
want to handle the database file(such as
adding, deleting, modifying records). I am working in windows 2000 environ. My front end is VB backend is visual foxpro 6.0

You should be able to do so using the WMI ChangeSecurityPermissions (or ChangeSecurityPermissionsEx) method.
