Hmmm...so let me get this straight....

    1) You want to get into the Password table for a main database application?

    2) why?

    Question Let me Illustrate

I use MS Access 2007 and I want to Open a Back End Data base and Read/Write to it by ADO method "Considering I have set a Password for my Back End Data Base".
Actually I Can Open the File by ADO method but Can't Edit the Recordset.

Dunno much about password stuff, but check out
    http://www.connectionstrings.com/?carrier=access2007

If you can't get that to work, check out
    http://www.carlprothman.net/Default....orMicrosoftJet

but with Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 in stead of Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0.

But - if you can open it, read it, but not edit, are you sure you're using the correct cursor/lock? Try with static or keyset and optimistic locking?

Edit: showing a bit of the code, is always making it easier to assist...

    Smile Thanks

    Hi Roy,
It Works now, I used to use Microsoft.Jet.OLDB. 4.0 but using the new Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 solved the problem Thanks.
Why Microsoft did not mention this in MS Access 2007 Help?
