    Unanswered: User level security login

    Access 2003

I have applied user level security to my database and found that it has created a shortcut that will make it so that when Access loads, it comes up with a login screen. When I run the actual database rather than the shortcut, it does not come up with the login screen.

Using the shortcut will make distribution a pain since it will need to be setup on every persons computer. Is there a way to have the database automatically come up with the user level security login screen without the shortcut?

Yes I am referring to Access built in security. I said user level security so it is not confused with simply adding a password to the database.

Does the shortcut pass any parameters?
I can't think of any reason why you would not get prompetd by the inbuilt security in these 2 different scenarios

The shortcut points to the database then has the parameter; /WRKGRP. It then points to the security file that was created when I first set user level security.
