    Unhappy Unanswered: tsnping problem

    Hi to all
If i want to check the status of the line for connect to another database, except
type ping following by the IP address at command promt.
I aslo can type the tnsping following by the database link name.

    My problem is :
I get the error when i key in tnsping following by the databaselink name.

    C:\>tnsping brancha.world
'tnsping' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.

Is need i set or add the word 'tnsping' in some file ?

    Thanks in advance.

    NO
You need to add $ORACLE_HOME/bin to your PATH environmental variable
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.

Oracle is NOT a Point & Click GUI.

I suggest you give up on Oracle & stay with products commensurate with your abilities.
