Is there an easy way to create VB Script to locate a file or folder (named) on a network computer- not a share.

But I need to run this for xxx amount of machines, with each machine being number PPC1, PPC2, etc etc up to PPC600

I believe I can do the PPC increase part just need to find VB script to locate a file or folder on the network computer and just tell me whether it exists or not in a report?

not natively in VB script (or in standalone VB either)

If you have administrator privileges, you should be able to call Windows network APIs (netapi32) though.

The following may get you headed in the right direction:

    netapi32.dll : NetUserEnum
