Question Unanswered: Report by Country Visualization

I'm looking for a tool that creates a nice visualization that creates a world map (with all the countries) and changes the hue for each country depending on the amount of elements that country has.

Basically like for instance those census maps that get "redder" for countries with high populations and "bluer" for countries with low populations.

It's realy specific but didn't know where else to ask the question.

    Thanks!

Wow... I have to say I have no idea!!

However the Google Maps API may be able to do this, but I have never played with it.

HTH and let us know how you get on

This isn't the one I remember, but it might give you a lead.

Here is another, that references US states. Map colored in Excel
