Unanswered: Problem with creationg buffer pool

    Hi,

While running the following command as db2inst1 user
    I got this error

    bash-3.2$ db2 CREATE BUFFERPOOL create-buffer
DB21016E The Command Line Processor encountered a system error while sending
the command to the backend process.
DB20000I The SQL command completed successfully.

    Thanks in advance

have a look in db2diag.log - probably not enough memory to allocate

    -601 mens bufferpool already existing
the previous error/command did completed (bp created), but could not be allocated (memory)- now already existing - verify in sysibm.sysbufferpools
