    Unanswered: Printers and reports

    Access 2003

I have setup a database on a computer and all the reports work. If a person on another computer with a different printer gets a copy of that database and tries to open a report, they get an error. It is possible to get past the error but I was wondering if there is a way to avoid this problem all together?

If you Set the reports to print to the default printer they will only print on that printer.

Why not set all reports to open as a preview, then let the user select their own print settings.

It will cut down on unwanted prints too, which will be a greener solution
