    Unanswered: Pasting the actual text of a cell

    Is there a way to paste the actual text of a cell (e.g. IF statement, calculation of some fields) not the formulas or values without adding the $?
    Example

    A1 =Sheet1!C128
    A2 =Sheet1!C129

    When I copy row 1 and 2 into row 10 and 11 it will get a mapping of
    A10 =Sheet1!C138
    A11 =Sheet1!C139

    I want it to stay
    A10 =Sheet1!C128
    A11 =Sheet1!C129

    How can this be done?

    Im using Office 2002

    Thanks

    Hi

    If you only want to copy a single cell, then you can copy the cell contents from the cell when in cell edit mode (F2) and paste that. This paste the cell literal, you can then copy this relationally if it is a block you want to copy relationaly from there !?

    Does that make sense?
