    Unanswered: Access and email

    Hello,

I've an Accessdatabase (2000) and i will send an email to one of the adresses. I've allready a subject and a HTMLbodytext but... it only works in Outlook and not in any other emailprogramm.
In Outlook I use an autosign and a form with the companylogo and that is not use when I send the mail out of Access.
Who can help me to build a code with "mailto"?

Will appreciate any help on this matter.

    Luc.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking. If you are looking for ways to send email from Access not using Outlook then try doing a web search on vbSendMail. Works very well and will send HTML formatted messages.

Otherwise, please post your question again.

I use Groupwise as an email client and Access. I use docmd.sendobject to send email. As far as I can tell it just reaches out to the system and asks for the default email client. If you don't have a default client or you want to use another application, you may need a different command.
