i do not know but I am guessing not. most software comes with a prerequisite list.
“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.

    No. 64-bit software requires a 64-bit OS.

What benefit would you get from this? If the OS can not address the extra memory, SQL Server will not be able to.

Besides which, Microsoft says it is not supported: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/edition...d/sysreqs.mspx

You can't do this under any normal circumstances. While it is technically possible, there is no practical reason to do it.

To paraphrase Slim Pickins ..."Why in the Wide, Wide World Of Sports would you want to do that?"
