    Unanswered: About the imp tool. It's no error but nothing is imported! It confuse me some days!

    Hello, the following is the message when I import:

    C:\>imp system/system fromuser=sbdtemp touser=scott grants=n file=c:\kkx.dmp log
    =c:\imp.log

    From what I know only 3 types of import -
    1) table(s)
    2) schema
    3) FULL

    From what you posted you did ZERO of any of the THREE

    Your imp file can be empty? try to show the imp file, like imp file=<your file_name> show=y fromuser=<user source> touser=<user destiny>

    If nothing come from the imp file, like a text showing the objetcs I guess that the problem is the imp file.

    Hello, I have resolve this problem.
    Our colleague use the following command to export the data
    exp sbdtemp/123456@kkx-71.26 owner=kkx_sa file=kkx.dmp

    The follow is OK!
    imp system/system fromuser=kkx_sa touser=scott grants=n file=c:\kkx.dmp log
    =c:\imp.log
