    Millions DB -- In-Memory Database

    Millions DB -- In-memory Database

Are you facing the performance and capacity issues when delivering systems to real-time enterprises and industries? Are you paying money to compensate for the downtime impact of your products? If so, a new technology product may be the solution you are looking for. Millions DB, a distributed in-memory
database, empowers applications with the instance responsiveness, high throughput, large capacity, and high availability. Millions DB also provides you the flexibility on design, implementation and deployment of your systems.

    Key Features:
    1. High Performance
Testing on system with one 1.8GHZ CPU, the throughput of transactions per second (tps)
    query: 1,212,800 tps
    insert: 620,000 tps
    delete: 986,000 tps
    update: 822,000 tps

    2. Large Capacity
For the application of 3G HLR, Millions DB provides three scales of capacity:
    3,000,000 subscribers
    5,000,000 subscribers
    1000,000,000 subscribers

    3. High Availablility
Millions DB supports real-time data replication among multi DB nodes. When one node of Millions DB crashes, the other nodes can take over the load smoothly.

    4. High Concurrency and Parallelizability
Millions DB supports multiple processes and multi-threading for high concurrency. With block-level locking and snapshot method, lock contention between readers and writers is eliminated, providing high levels of Concurrency and Parallelizability.

    5. No Data Loss
Millions DB can be configured as no data loss mode. In this mode, data is replicated to hard disk in real time. When Millions DB restarts, data can be loaded from hard disk with high speed (no less than 50,000 records per second). With this feature, there is no restarting issue for Millions DB.

At least until you lose power or need to restart your server, "in memory" databases are lovely things!

As this is an advertisement and not a technical discussion, I'm going to move this post to the Marketplace. That way the folks interested in shopping will be able to find it more easily.
