> This position will be accountable for content, development, and component deployment of ITSM (Remedy). They will also assist in troubleshooting technical issues; assisting customers with application questions, and be knowledgeable in best practices within the SLM (Service Level Management) arena. This position will require oversight by the ESM Technology Leader.
> This individual is responsible for the development and administration of the BMC Remedy ARS system application.
> Implementation of new functionality including forms, workflow, alerts, filters, escalations, menus and other related components based on agreed business requirements.
> Provide ongoing maintenance and support of BMC Remedy ARS system and
> BMC Remedy Mid-Tier Thorough testing, ensure that all code meets specifications and is easily maintainable and well documented.
> Maintain and enhance BMC Remedy ITSM applications. (Help Desk, Asset
> Mgmt and Change Mgmt) The candidate will work closely with customers and other team members to analyze customer requirements and design, code, and implement appropriate solutions.
> Required Skills
> 2 - 5 years of Remedy Developer and Administrator experience Strong
> knowledge of Remedy Forms, Active Links, Filters, Escalations, Menus,
> Guides, workflow, Reporting and other related components Strong
> Knowledge of Remedy ARS version 7.0 Good knowledge of Microsoft
> technologies Ability to produce technical requirements based on user
> requirements and design documentation that describes system
> requirements, performance criteria, data flows, and end-user
> interfaces Good knowledge of Database structures and architecture (SQL
> Server) Should be self-starter with excellent communication and
> team-oriented skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving
> skills Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task in a dynamic
> environment Ability to translate and communicate complex concepts to peers and business partners, and to work collaboratively in a team environment Good verbal and written communication skills Incumbent will be on call twenty four hours a day, seven days a week Applicant selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
