    Unanswered: Chart help

Sorry if this is a duplicate post.

I'm trying to build a simple line chart in Access. The problem that I'm having is that the X axis values are dates and Access tries to fill in missing dates. I'm trying to graph a range of dates but if some of the dates are missing Access includes them anyway.

For instance: I have 12/6, 12/7 and 12/10. But when I display the chart, Access has added 12/8 and 12/9. How can I stop this? I have tried forcing that field to be a string data type but that doesn't work. I have even tried a format of 12_6_2007 but then Access will not order them right (12_10_2007 is before 12_6_2007).

    Anyway ideas? Thanks.

    C

    Hi,

If it works with the underscore.
Order the data in your Query

    So

    Select Format(GraphDate,'dd_MM_YYYY') as Date1, GraphDate as Date2
From Table Order by Date2 DESC
