Unanswered: Creating a control source/ something simlar @ Form Update

    Hi People

Well over the last few days, I have learnt that you really cant use fields which are bound with control sources for calculations, or inserting data programatically.

My question is, if I have say 2 unbound text boxes which receive data programatically, when I am about to create a new record, could I set a control source or something similar in the Visual Basic environment so they save to a particular field? (e.g. a workaround for this problem)

    Help or input appreciated.
