" TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
    ------------------------------

An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo)

    ------------------------------
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

What happens when you run the following command:
    Code:
restore headeronly from disk = 'path to your backup file'
Replace path to your backup file with the full path, including filename of your backup device.

I have seen that error why you try to restore a SQL2005 database to a SQL2000 server, could this be the problem?
