Unanswered: Auto install a printer or invoke ADD Printer from Access

Question - any way to fire up the "add printer" in vba from access or to auto install the windows image writer or generic printer from access?

I have cusdtomers that sometimes do not have printers installed on workstations - so the print preview fails. I can determine if there are any printers but if my count is 0 how can I auto install the generic printer or image writer or at the least is there an API to autostart the ADD Printer utility in Windows?

never tried, but see if this helps.

this should bring-up the AddPrinter dialog in most things from W95 to WXP (untried in Vista):
    Shell "rundll32.exe shell32.dll,SHHelpShortcuts_RunDLL AddPrinter"
