    Unanswered: Disable Default

Ooookaay. Looks like I stumped everyone with my BeforeUpdate question. Let me try this one: in Paradox, there's a "disabledefault" and an "execute (or something) default" command. So say you want to display a message before closing the form. In the "CloseForm" event, you'd put

    execute default

Is there anything like that in Access?

    pretty much the same
best thing to do is to get to grips with the event model that access VBA uses.

have a look at the vba code window
select the form int he left most combo box, and you will see the events int he rightmost combo box
you will get the same effect if you right click an element in the form design mode, look at the properties and look at the tabs.. I think its marked events or similar
you can also use "build event"
