    Unanswered: new line

    can any one tell me how to use the char(13) function to display the data in a new line.

    Create yourself a forumla with the following code
    Code:
    "Here's 1 line" & Char(13) & "Here's a new line!"
    Notice the use of ampersands (&), they are a string concatenator.

    Hmm, now is it Char(n) or Chr(n)..?

    The function is chr().

    In this example for the carriage return it's chr(13).

    Can't you also concatenate(sp) using +?

    For example: "Here's your line" + chr(13) + "Here's the next line";

    yes - you can use either:

    + or &

    The plus sign is a historic implementation; you should really be using the ampersand (&) for string concaenation
