    Unanswered: IP address of DBA

    I am trying to use tunneling to connect to the the Oracle DB. For this I need to know the IP addess of the DB I am trying to connect to.

    Can anyone please tell me how I can get the IP address of the oracle DB. I am accessing the DB via SQL

    Might the solution be Operating System dependent?
    The command "nslookup" might work for you. Then again, it might not.
    What is wrong with using the fully qualified domain name of the DB host?
