Unanswered: Report cuts off characters on right

I am helping a co-worker with a database I created a couple of years ago but haven't touched since then. It was created in Access 2002 but the application has now been upgraded to Access 2003.

The Publication_Long_Title field contains the most amount of text. In the report, it properly wraps to a new line if the field contains more text than the width allows. I have used Can Expand and it works fine. However, if a word gets too close to the right margin of the report field, the closest letter to the right margin doesn't display. However, if I change the width of the report, I can see that the "invisible" letter does exist but for some reason, is not displaying if it is too close to the right margin.

Going back to older reports I generated with Access 2002, this was not an issue but it appears that it is now with Access 2003. Any ideas as to how to solve this?

    Thanks,

    Jules

Make the control narrower so it doesn't get too close to the margin?

This particular field is one of about 5 that are displayed (left to right) across a report and this one is near the middle. Therefore, it is not the page's right margin that is the issue because this field is no where near the right margin.

An example of the report (but one that I had created with Access 2002 that doesn't show this problem) may be found at http://www.mndm.gov.on.ca/mndm/mines...supplement.pdf. If there was a problem when I was using Access 2002, you would see it on, for example, page 32 of the PDF where the word "the" on the right might display just "th". I will try to get a copy of the same report generated using Access 2003.

Text controls on reports have a Can Grow property... You might want to check that this is set correctly on the offending field.

Each text box control on the report also has four margin properties. Perhaps playing with the right margin may change things.
