    Unanswered: EXCEPTION table in load

    hi
    how to create EXCEPTION TABLE which is used in the load command.
    is it created automatically when we mention in the LOAD command or do we need to create first
    db2 v8.1 fp12
    solaris environment.

    Use the "MESSAGES <filename>" option... (which you can easily find in the manual)

    thanks andy for your reply
    but i have one more question,MESSAGES <msg file> is used by db2 for writing the error messages right?. and my question is the EXCEPTION TABLE which will be populated by the rejected rows during the load operation.
    do we need to create it first or is it created automatically during load operation if we mention it?.
    correct me if iam wrong
