Unanswered: Colour of text on a command button

I would like to have one word of a command button in red and leave the other words black.
    I am using Access 2003.

'Fraid not. To do something approaching this you will need to rig up something that approximates the look and behaviour of a command button, for example putting together an image in a graphics package and overlaying two image controls.

In short - is it really important to you bcause it will take quite some effort?

You can try adding a caption box as an overlay on the command button. For example, make a command button and for a caption put something like "xit" and then put a caption box with the letter "E" on top of the command button (color as red or whatever color you desire). You'll need to put the same code in the OnClick of the Caption box as the command button. Not sure if this will turn out exactly like you want it to but it's a patchy way to do it.

There isn't a way to do multi-colors of the text in the command button though.
