    Unanswered: Difference between DB2 on LUW and iSeries

    Hi All,

    I would like to know what is the difference between DB2 UDB on LUW and iSeries.

    They are two different products, although the SQL at the DML (insert, update, delete, select) is almost 100% the same (there is a DB2 manual which compares SQL compatibility on the IBM Website where the manuals for DB2 are listed).

    Of all the DB2 products (LUW, z/OS, VM, iSeries), iSeries is the most different from all the others because of its close integration with the iSeries OS.

    Hi ,

    I am looking to learn DB2 on iSeries. I am wondering if somebody could point me to a document which is meant for those who come from DB2 LUW world. I had been looking for such a documentation on IBM website but couldn't find one.
