I need to create and send emails to a large list of people. I am using the Outlook 11 .display and sendkeys to work around the security in outlook. I have turned of the save sent message in outlook and created a rule to save any sent messages to a personal folder to keep the mailbox on the network from reaching it's limit. If I send an email manually from Outlook, this works as it should - a copy of the sent email is saved to the personal folder and there is no copy saved in the Sent folder on the network. When I run through the routine from Access I end up with a copy of the email in the personal folder and in the sent folder.
I could go in after each email and delete the sent mail then empty the deleted items, but I would rather find a way to keep the copy from being saved in the Sent folder in the first place.
Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.
