Unanswered: Export data to a text file using a button on a form

    Hello

I have a "BIRTHDAY BOOKINGS" table in MS Access and every day I want to export the names from it that are booked in on todays date with their ages to a text file using a button on a form. For example I might have three entries for today in my form:

    DATE NAME AGE

    28/02/08 Ben Smith 10
    28/02/08 Mark Jones 9
    28/02/08 Neil Farrow 11

and I want a text file that litterally just says "Ben Smith,10,Mark Jones,9,Neil Farrow,11" by pushing a button on a form. This is so I can read it from a flash file to display the names on a screen.

    Any idea how?

Also any suggestions on where to get flash advice? lol

    Thanks

    Garry

Look up TransferText in the help files. This allows you to export a table (or query) into, for example, a CSV file.
