    Talking Unanswered: grant to computername?

    can i use computer name to give grant to a user?

    GRANT ALL ON *.* TO 'root'@'computer name';

    is this possible?

    Hi Sajjad did u get any convert tool for converting the SQL SERVER stored procedure. if u got it then help me in solving this problem yaar.

    Please explain in detail what does computer name refer:-IP address,hostname,
    CPU name,Motherboard name,Keyboard,Monitor or something else
