Unanswered: Terminating process from Access 2002

    Hi everyone!

Our Access application (.mde) is started by an .exe file (written in VB.NET) that checks for new versions of mde, copies the new version to the app directory and executes the application. That all works fine.

The problem is that when Access app has started, that exe is still running. Is there a way to kill that exe in the login form's load event?

    Thank you.

I'd suggest modifying the VB.NET code rather than trying to kill the process from Access. Or use batch files instead of the EXE.
