    Unanswered: want to retrieve SQL which ran last night

    Hi all,

    Can I retrieve SQL which ran last night , I dont have any event monitor setup but isnt there any way to know which SQL ran at what time.

    I think the only ways you can get that kind of information is with an event monitor or using Query Patroller.

    You can get this info many different ways be it home grown tool or what you buy from some vendor. Bun NON of them will tell you today where you have been yesterday unless you buy a crystal ball.

    How should this work? You don't tell DB2 to collect anything and then expect it to do that nevertheless?

    The only option you have is to analyze the DB2 log records to figure out which effects any data modification statements had. The DB2 Log Analyzer tool/product can help you there.
