Overview

Must have a strong Business Intelligence background, and strong Hyperion Essbase experience


This position acts as a team member of Systems Analyst responsible for the operation and maintenance of the BI and BPM (Business Performance Management) applications with a primary responsibility of administering Hyperion Planning applications.
Defines, designs and implements business needs into solutions
Coordinates modifications with other application and infrastructure teams
This is an on-call position (rotating schedule) and requires a means of contact 24/7/365 while on call


Core Requirements

3-5 years experience preparing and delivering executive level presentations, briefings, and business case development

2+ years developing / supporting Hyperion Essbase applications

Experience implementing Hyperion Planning (creating and managing planning applications, creating and maintaining web forms, developing business rules, etc.)

In-depth knowledge and experience creating OLAP cubes using Hyperion Essbase

Experience using Essbase BSO

Experience creating reports and dashboards through Hyperion Reports and/or Hyperion Analyzer or equivalent Hyperion application within System 9BI+

Experience using HAL or load rules

Excellent interpersonal / communication skills

Able to work independently and as part of a tem

4-year degree or equivalent experience



Desirable Requirements

EIS (Essbase Integration Services) or AIS (Analytic Integration Services)

Writing MaxL scripts

Using Essbase ASO

Using ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage

T-SQL or PL/SQL

Essbase partitioning and optimization

Strong understanding of data modeling concepts

2+ years developing / supporting Hyperion Planning or Hyperion Pillar applications
