Question Unanswered: Query regarding Key constraints

    1. What is the significance of having names for key constraints? In what sense are they useful?
    2. ON DELETE CASCADE works with the FOREIGN KEY. But why ON DELETE NO ACTION is giving error? It is providing error while I am running the script... but somehow the actual job of NO ACTION is working!!

    1. When you get the error message "Contraint EMP_PK violated" you know it was the Primary Key on the EMP table rather than maybe a NOT NULL constraint on some column or other.

    2. Because according to Oracle SQL Reference there is no "NO ACTION" keyword!
