Unanswered: help needed with query to calculate total

hi i am having problems calculating a total feild using a query

I have a table called booking details and another table called vehicle. the booking detail contains the hire rate and duration which when multiplied = total.

i am using this query :

    Expr1: CCur([Booking Details]![Hire Rate]*[Booking Details]![Duration])

It runs but when the duration is changed the total changes but when hire rate is changed it does not.

thanks in advance for your time

PM or Post, not both please!

Since the expression is correct, you're going to need to post up more details. Data types of field names, where you are changing the data to test it... or even better, post up the db itself.

    Cheers

Ok, so the data types are ok.

Now you have to look at where you are entering/changing the values to see why the expression isn't working on changing one field. Is it possible that you just have to move the focus somewhere else to see the change?

Can you post up the database?
