    Unanswered: Increasing the number of user connections

    Hi,

    Can anyone let me know how to increase the maximum number user connections in Sybase. I tried the command sp_configure "number of user connections", 30 but it is giving an error that the maximum number of connections can't be greater than 25.

    Thanks

    What version? I think the developer edition is limited.

    A client-side issue?
    by default open client limits the
    number of connections on the client side to 25. This can be changed
    via a ct_config() call:

    num = MAX_CONNECT;
    retcode = ct_config(context, CS_SET, CS_MAX_CONNECT, &num,
    CS_UNUSED, NULL);
